Somewhere by Matthew Reed Williams is a supernatural tale that will leave you shivering. Lee Thompson has not long graduated from college. When he relocates to a town called Somewhere, deep in rural Missouri, he finds himself caught up in a series of strange events – the town is not what it seems at first glance. He begins to have visions of a hanged woman, and something is on the move in his apartment at night. As he builds relationships with the locals, he also uncovers some dark secrets – slavery and cruelty are at the very foundations of Somewhere. Can Lee escape from the horrors of the past, or will he be caught up forever by a sinister force?
Somewhere by Matthew Reed Williams is an eerie thriller that will hook you right from the first page. This unique story is a very clever blend of supernatural and horror, and the suspense builds up, dragging you into the story. Williams has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are right there, in the idyllic town of Somewhere, as things turn from quiet and sleepy to malevolent and dark. This story will send chills down your spine. It’s a captivating story that you won't put down until you’ve finished – you won’t be able to. As the story unfolds, you’ll feel the horror and the terror rising in you, gripping you until the very last page. I loved this story and highly recommend it for fans of supernatural stories that make your hair stand on end.
