This makes her a character you can’t help but connect with. One of the standout moments in the story is when DJ gets a Tinkerbell tattoo, which choked me up a bit as I felt a connection to my late mother. It is a beautiful scene that shows how, no matter what, we carry pieces of loved ones with us. The points of view alternate, and Dave was quite fun, especially when it came to the DJ-Dave-Mia triangle. Of course, there are crossed wires and signals, but the cherry on top is the book's soundtrack, which enhances the reading exponentially, making it a unique and immersive book.
