Super-Duper Monty by Gita V. Reddy revolves around Monty, a frog who lived in a green, mossy pond with his friends and family. Everyone called him Leapfrog as he was always jumping, hopping, and leaping. One day his jump, hop, and leap took him to the road. He was happy initially, but realized that his skin was drying up as there was no pond or puddle to soak in. As the story progresses, readers learn where Monty goes and his journey until he is put back in the pond. This delightful story tells young readers how to treat other creatures and to let them live in their natural habitat instead of keeping them elsewhere.

The message of the story is educational and useful. The illustrations are bright and colorful and they do full justice to the author's concepts and ideas. It's an excellent bedtime storybook and can also be used for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. The story line is engaging and the plot has subtle twists and turns that make the story and the characters memorable.

Books like these are good for children to teach them the importance of treating creatures properly and letting them live in their natural environment so that they live longer. The lessons shared through the story of Monty are valuable to young readers and also develop awareness on how to respect the creatures around them and take care of them accordingly.
