Tasha Goes To Puppy School is a children's picture book written by Steve Devon, with illustrations by Alice Wong. It follows Tasha, the tiniest pup in a litter of eleven. Due to her size, she struggles to eat and feels weak most of the time. One day, Tasha is enrolled in puppy school where she meets other pups of different shapes and sizes. They all ride the bus to school, attend Miss Dogbreath's homeroom class, and participate in gym class with Mr. Rover. Tasha observes all the other pups, who are stronger and more energetic than her, and realizes that they will grow up to be guard dogs, sled dogs, and athletic sheepdogs. This makes her feel sad, as she knows she is not like them. However, Miss Dogbreath notices her sad face and reminds her of her unique gift of love that sets her apart from all the other pups.

Tasha Goes To Puppy School is an inspiring story that encourages children to embrace their unique qualities and be confident in themselves. Steve Devon skillfully conveys the message that every child is special and should be appreciated for their individual strengths and talents, rather than being compared to others. It is important to support and nurture their individuality so they can thrive without feeling the pressure of competition. The tone of the story is rhythmic, making it musical and appealing to children. The beautiful illustrations that accompany the story are enchanting, adding to the magical feel of the book, and the colors create a calming atmosphere. I enjoyed this story and highly recommend it to parents who want to teach their children to be confident in themselves, show kindness and love, and embrace diversity.
