The fear of failure, success, rejection, unfairness, and fear of taking risks all come into play. Hawkins suggests that you can only achieve your life goals if you strengthen your self-discipline. Mastering self-discipline will benefit you in many aspects of your life, such as helping you manage your money better. However, learning to say no is imperative. There are other spin-offs from achieving self-discipline, most notably greater self-confidence.
