Go on a fun adventure with Gabriel Bietz's The Adventures of Arya and Krishna Betta Fish: Desert Oasis. Arya and Krishna are two betta fish siblings living a happy life in a fish tank with their friends and parents. But when their owners, Amer and Annie, take them on a trip, circumstances leave them stranded in the Mojave desert, with seemingly no help in sight. Meanwhile, Arya and Krishna come across two fun-loving armadillos, Ralph and Daniel, who help them fend off the attention of a rattlesnake named Sam. Fortunately, their owners soon realize their mistake and come back to rescue them. Now, it's time for Arya, Krishna, and their friends to take a flight to Florida and visit the Kennedy Space Center. What are they going to find there?
The Adventures of Arya and Krishna Betta Fish: Desert Oasis is the perfect picture book for youngsters who have grown up with pets. Author Gabriel Bietz has delivered a treat for readers with a penchant for adventure and who love stories featuring animals as main characters. The characters in this tale are full of life, and Bietz provides them with colorful personalities. Arya and Krishna are, of course, entertaining, but I also enjoyed Shivam's, Ralph's, and Daniel's antics. The artwork by Remesh Ram enhances the story and makes it so much more enjoyable to read. All in all, this is a book that will be loved by kids and young adults alike. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will heartily recommend it.
