As the old saying goes, “Reading is fundamental,” and so is learning. The Adventures of the Numbers: Multiplication and Addition (Volume 3) by Ronit Tal Shaltiel is a great way for children to learn. The third book of the series, The Adventures of the Numbers is designed to help children to count by learning and computing numbers through multiplication and addition problems. Children will learn math using penguins, turtles, rabbits, flowers and ice cream cones images which they get to color in as well. In The Adventures of the Numbers, children will learn different variations of multiplication and additions to solve a problem as they compute numbers one through twenty.
Teaching children math is a great tool because, unlike reading, it challenges another part of the brain while helping to strengthen the child’s cognitive abilities. I commend Ronit Tal Shaltiel for not only such a great job in creating a tool for combining learning and fun, but in establishing a series for learning and growth. To enhance your child’s math abilities, pick up not only The Adventures of the Numbers: Multiplication and Addition (Volume 3) by Ronit Tal Shaltiel, but the other two volumes as well; your children will thank you for it.
