Author Biography

As a lover of human potential, I wanted to share my life experiences, insights and challenge the reader to ask themselves tough questions. The Balance Between Hustle & Flow is a deeply personal journey dedicated to my children. My parents died when I was quite young and I honor their wisdom by creating a memoir with a purpose for all those seeking to find balance in their lives. Most books deal with either hustle and going all in or Zen and taking the spiritual route. We all live somewhere in between the two in the balance between hustle & flow. It is my honor to share this book and my passion for living your best life!

The Balance Between Hustle & Flow: Knowing When To Make Things Happen And When To Let Them Happen by Theo Prodromitis is a thought-provoking book that gives good insights on when to hustle and when to go with the flow. Everyone is looking for growth, passion, flow, and success in their respective lives and they are often at crossroads wondering whether to hustle for better and faster results or sit back, reflect, and let life flow for them, as the author says. This book is a good guide towards striking a balance between Eastern and Western mindsets and thought processes. Passion and excellence are indelibly stamped into humanity and the author says that a yearning for simple excellence is enough to help discover the hidden gifts within.

The Balance Between Hustle & Flow is helpful to see where transformation needs to be done to find the balance between the hustle and flow that will help navigate the labyrinth of experiences, and finally lead towards self-discovery, excellence, and fulfillment. What makes this book unique and engaging is Theo Prodromitis's interactive approach to the topic which pulls in readers to be a part of her personal experiences and journey. It will also challenge them to look deep into themselves and approach their problems from different angles and get positive solutions. The techniques and strategies are useful for self-improvement and finding that perfect relationship between the hustle and the flow. The author's narration is simple, neat, and crisp and that makes it easy for readers to connect with her words. Her honesty and authenticity while speaking about her personal experiences are refreshing and make this book a winner.

Beginning with a fascinating story about an invitation to join in a retreat on Compassionate Leadership, with participation by the Dalai Lama, in Dharamshala, India, Theo sets the stage for the teachings encompassed in this book. The main theme, deciding when to take action versus when to go with the flow, is illustrated with a number of real-life examples and spiritual understanding. By combining western and eastern philosophies, the author presents a balanced way to live life in today’s world. In The Balance Between Hustle & Flow: Knowing When to Make Things Happen and When to Let Them Happen, crafted by Theo Prodromitis, the author develops a mindful, peaceful approach to living in the modern world.

The book is divided into three parts: The World of All Possibilities; A Look Within; The Big Questions. Theo’s sharing of a personal and professional journey brings spiritual lessons to life, often with a humorous slant. She also shares an almost unbelievable serendipitous occurrence in her life (which is the true definition of serendipity); this will encourage all readers to recognize when such events happen. The resources at the end of the book are extensive and will be helpful to anyone who wants to further their understanding. The strongest feature of this book is the authenticity that emanates from the writing. Author Theo Prodromitis has told her story within the context of western and eastern philosophies in The Balance Between Hustle & Flow. This is a book that can be read over and over again!

The Balance Between Hustle & Flow: Knowing When to Make Things Happen and When to Let Them Happen by Theo Prodromitis is a non-fiction motivational self-help guide for those looking for a new approach to an age-old issue: finding equilibrium in a decidedly disproportionate world. Prodromitis injects personal stories as she lays the foundation to build up the three distinct parts of her book. These include an introduction, fire igniting self-examination, and an almost prophetic experience that fuelled her journey in part one, the influences of part two, and the three big questions in part three. Prodromitis supplements her narrative with interactive pages for the reader to take part in guided journaling exercises, Prodro Pro tips, and photos sprinkled throughout that stamp the author's journey in a visual format.

Theo Prodromitis writes with the confidence and comfort of a friend having a pep talk with you on the couch over a cup of coffee. The Balance Between Hustle & Flow bridges two contrary states of being and places a reader right in the happy middle. My favorite part and greatest takeaway was Chapter Five, The Third Influence: Mindset, wherein Prodromitis addresses forgiveness. As someone who is quick to forgive, I initially began reading with a “yeah, ok, this part isn't for me”...until she up and zeroed in on the importance of forgiving yourself. I have a tendency to latch onto 20-year old embarrassments and this was something I knew I needed to work on. Seeing it in print and then doing the journaling exercise really put it into my “sooner rather than later” category. There is a little something for everyone here and taken in as a whole, while initially overwhelming, is sure to jumpstart a change so we may all find the balance between hustle and flow.
