Clyde the Camel is on a very important mission: he is taking the Wise Men to see a newborn baby, born in a manager. The baby is named Jesus, and whispers say that this baby will change the world one day. There’s only one thing: as the journey progresses, Clyde runs into a persistent problem: he cannot stop sneezing! In The Christmas Camel Who Couldn't Stop Sneezing, author Wesley Tan puts a fun twist on the story we all know and love. Packed with humorous moments when the camel tries to suppress the sneezes, readers will enjoy how heartwarming the tale is. Clyde the Camel must learn to embrace his imperfections and to be an authentic version of himself, sneezes and all.
I loved how original The Christmas Camel Who Couldn’t Stop Sneezing is. Growing up at Sunday school, I have a particular fondness for the story of the Wise Men coming to see Baby Jesus, and I think author Wesley Tan does a wonderful job of providing an original twist. He offers new perspectives without losing the sincerity and beauty of the moment of Jesus’s birth, which I found compelling. The Christmas Camel Who Couldn't Stop Sneezing is lighthearted, and I found myself grinning from ear to ear as I turned the pages. Not only that, but the story features an important message about confidence. I could easily see this becoming an annual tradition to read and enjoy together as a family. Move over Rudolph and Frosty, there’s a new Christmas classic in town. This book offers a really sweet perspective and heartwarming message that families will enjoy.
