The Chronicles of a Love Addict by Keaidy Bennett is love at first sight. This book has such heartfelt moments that leap off the page. As an author, I can really relate to this book. Ms. Bennett says, "Writing is hard. Not as hard as not writing." I absolutely love this quote. I felt her struggles as I read "Kryptonite." There are so many moments in life that we cannot defeat. Even if the relationship is "venomous," it is so hard to run away. "The Harshest Reality" deals with the struggle of unconditional love that is hard to control. Friendship is like nothing else in the world, but love is an uncontrollable flame. Love makes you smile, makes you cry, makes you sing, and makes you wonder why.
I highly recommend The Chronicles of a Love Addict. This book is nothing short of love and emotion. Ms. Bennett is very good at expressing her feelings with words. I feel such strength in her words. She writes not only to give pleasure to the readers of her work, but also to fill a yearning of her love for writing. If you love poetry that makes you think about love and raw emotion, you will love every page. I never doubt that poets are artists. They paint pictures with words. A good poem can take you to a different place or time in your life. This book took me to places that I had not been in years. I urge you to take this journey with Ms. Bennett.
