Escape From the Adventure by Nadine Haruni is the third installment in the exciting Hat Diaries series. Ryan is stuck, trapped in his last adventure, too late in getting through the portal, but Violet and Merlo are on the case. But their journey to rescue Ryan won’t be an easy one, and when they stumble on a strange house, things begin to turn very dangerous for them. Ryan can’t help wondering if he’s been abandoned, but he has no idea of what Violet and Merlo are battling, and they must ask themselves how far they are prepared to go. Can they save Ryan, or is the cost just too high for them?
Escape From the Adventure is the most thrilling installment in Nadine Haruni's Hat Diaries series yet. First, this isn’t a standalone book – if you haven’t read the first two books in the series, go back and read them before this one; it will all make sense. This is another action-packed offering, all go right from the start, and with plenty of magical mystery to carry you along. The characters continue to be developed well, and kids (and adults) will love them. Every chapter is exciting and fun to read, keeping your attention fully engaged to the very end. Honestly, this may be aimed at a younger audience, but I think it will appeal to all ages, just like the other books, and it’s a thoroughly enjoyable addition. This series has just gotten better with each new story, and I feel privileged to have read them all.
