The Journal of A Country Healer: A Journey Into the World of Healing Like No Other by Toni Gibbons is a fascinating book that chronicles the author's journey; a magical and mystical walk combined with love and hope and mixed with laughter and tears. The author speaks about her ability to touch and see what is happening beneath the surface, and how through touch she can see the affliction of a human or an animal and know how to heal them. Understanding herbs and learning to make formulas that actually work is the heartbeat of her life. She has healed those suffering from the Hanta virus, liver poisoning, heart attack, severe brain injury, kidney problems, broken bones, cold, flu, pneumonia, etc.

The stories throw light on the author's healing abilities, even sharing some of her magical recipes and how to use them. This is a good eye-opener in understanding the power of herbs and how they can actually cure and heal. What makes this book special is the author's willingness to share the recipes to make these herbal medicines and use them for treatment. Toni Gibbons describes her experiences in detail, giving readers glimpses of her life and healing experiences. The Journal of A Country Healer proves how a lot of diseases and illnesses can be cured without the help of doctors or any allopathic medicines. The author's special talent for healing that happens with the blessings of the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth is a refreshing change in times when everyone is immersed neck-deep in technology. She shares her first-aid healing tips with readers that can be used until they consult their doctors and get appropriate treatment.
