The Last Available is a work of fiction in the fantasy, adventure, and action genres. Penned by author Sean R. Frazier, the plot follows the chaotic adventures of an unlikely group of heroes: an orc warrior, a halfling rogue, a priest, a pyromaniac wizard, a female barbarian, and a bard. Hired to save the world from the perilous Gobthorak, the Eater of Worlds, their collective ineptitude threatens to end it instead. As they fumble their way through quests (and plenty of taverns along the way), the question remains whether they can rise to the occasion or succumb to their vices. This is a humorous and unpredictable tale that was an absolute delight to read, filled with endless laughter and some really exciting, unexpected twists.

Sean R. Frazier's diverse and quirky cast of characters immediately drew me in, each bringing their unique chaos and charm to the story. The playful tone and witty dialogue had me laughing out loud, especially as the heroes stumbled through their quests with more enthusiasm than competence. The combination of fantasy tropes with comedy created a refreshing take on the classic hero's journey, with a wonderful dry wit underpinning the narrative that gives the whole novel a natural confidence and charm. The group's dynamic is characterized by plenty of detail, vivid descriptions, and dialogue choices so that you get to know each person really deeply. Readers are sure to find themselves rooting for these underdogs, hoping they might somehow save the world, or at least not destroy it entirely, as they are put to the test and discover new things about themselves. Overall, The Last Available is a delightful escape into a world where even the least likely heroes can become legends, if only by accident, and I would certainly recommend it to fantasy fans everywhere.
