The Last Daughter of Xyydaria IV by J. Scott introduces readers to T’rrakah who lives on planet Xyydaria IV. Her Warlord father is a violent man only comfortable when in the midst of conflict. T’rrakah feared she would end up like her father--a cyborg--if she survived the violence that surrounded him, as it was her duty as Princess of the Realm to fight beside her father. But it was not the life she wanted and decided to escape to a far off planet...Earth. She meets Shaun who offers his help. T’rrakah’s father is furious and sends G’naar to retrieve her, but G’naar had his own evil plans.

The Last Daughter of Xyydaria IV by J. Scott is a quick read and has all the necessary components to make it a Sci-fi favorite: well crafted romance along with compelling science fiction, adventure, mystery and action. The book reminded me of the old Sci-fi B movies, of which I am a big fan. The character of T’rrakah is well defined with the admirable qualities of a leader, and Shaun's character was a good match allowing for an enjoyable chemistry between them. The Last Daughter of Xyydaria IV is sure to be a fun read for Sci-fi fans.
