In The Man Who Fell in Love With His Wife by Patrick Oster, Duncan had been outside the country when his wife was involved in a fatal accident and died. Due to poor network and the fact that his phone was off, no one was able to reach him, and by the time he got back, his father-in-law, who was a former member of the Air Force, had taken care of several things. As the executor of his wife’s will, Duncan discovers a strange trunk in the attic that was supposed to go to his father-in-law. In a secret compartment of the trunk, he discovers things that leave him with more questions than answers. With the help of Tesla, will he discover who his wife was and what she did when she joined the cyber security business?

The Man Who Fell in Love With His Wife by Patrick Oster reignited my love for thrillers. This page-turner captured my imagination, and I could not put it down once I started reading. The captivating plotline flowed seamlessly, and I loved the things featured, like the current conflict in Ukraine. This thought-provoking work gets one thinking about geopolitics and their role in such issues. It also got me thinking about the dangers of cyberwarfare and the risks posed if technology is not used responsibly. Patrick also ensured everything was vividly described, which helped to create a mental picture of what was happening. The characters were well developed, and readers will also appreciate the excellent narration, which added to the overall beauty of this amazing work. This was a great read, and I look forward to reading something else by Patrick Oster.
