The Naughty Bunny: Finds His Forever Home by Rachel Evans and Cameron J Alvarado is a picture book for young children. A cute, fluffy white bunny named Tiny lives in a pet shop, dreaming of finding his forever home. One day the bunny's dream comes true, and a nice old lady adopts him. When they arrive at the old lady's house, Tiny is introduced to a cat, who doesn't seem very welcoming at all. Throughout the next day, the cat gives Tiny a chance and offers to share his food with him, and even play with his toys. The cat's choice of food doesn't interest Tiny and he turns it down. The cat sees this as Tiny being ungrateful and gives up on him. Tiny chews on wires and some mail, and when the old lady returns home, she is displeased with his behavior and returns him to the pet shop. Tiny is adopted by many more people who all take him back, making the bunny feel even more hopeless. Tiny is once again adopted, this time by a young boy. Will Tiny finally find his forever home with the boy or will he be returned?
The Naughty Bunny was a pleasure to read. Children are going to love this beautifully written tale by talented authors Rachel Evans and Cameron J Alvarado. The story is heart-warming, as well as entertaining and educational. It teaches the young reader how to look after their pets, and how important it is that you know how to care for them properly before you get one. The illustrations by Tim Petersen are adorable and bring the characters to life. I loved every page of this wonderful book and I can't wait to see more from this team in the future.
