The Princess Who Was Her Own Hero by Pedro T Flores is an empowering and inspirational picture book for young children. Are you tired of reading about princesses being rescued by dashing knights? Then this book is the one for you! A princess wakes from a deep sleep and realizes she has been taken captive. She ponders her options as to how she can escape. She could wait for some handsome prince to arrive and slay the enemies, or she could take matters into her own hands and free herself. The princess wastes no time in plotting her escape and puts her plan into action. Will the princess's plan work out in the end and if so, how will she do it?
The Princess Who Was Her Own Hero is an incredibly inspiring book that children will love and learn from. It teaches that women are strong and don't always need to be saved by a man. This is a crucial lesson that should be taught to enable the world to keep changing for the better. I enjoyed every page of this beautiful book and I know children will too. Even if your child isn't into stories about princesses, have them read it anyway, as they will still learn the lesson the author is trying to teach. The book is suitable for any gender so don't delay in picking up a copy! Congrats, Pedro T Flores, I do not doubt that your book will be a success. Keep writing and stay creative!
