James heard a rumbling at night and it was coming nearer. His fish was also scared. Both of them set off to find out where the noise was coming from. They went into the laundry room where the washer was whirling and moaning. James wanted to catch whatever was making the rumbling noise before dawn. They peeked into his lizard's cage and he looked just fine. The night was grim for their search. Now James had his fish and doggy along with him and they searched everywhere, leaving no pillow and blanket unturned. The number in the group increased to six as the search continued. Would they be able to find the culprit?

The Rumble Hunters by Courtney B. Dunlap is an entertaining story with lots of adventure, intrigue, and a dash of eeriness that will keep young readers glued to the story until the very end. Nazar Horokhivskyi's wonderful illustrations breathe life into the plot and characters and make the story more interesting and fun. The rhyme scheme adds to the pace and movement of the story, making it captivating and lyrical. It is a good book for parents and tutors to use for storytelling sessions at homes and classrooms. Children enjoy stories with adventure, intrigue, and fun. It is also a good way to let children try their hand at writing rhyming verses. Stories like this will make youngsters more imaginative and creative in their thinking and encourage them to use rhyming words and write small verses expressing their thoughts and feelings.

I bought The Rumble Hunters today, my grandson loves it and I had to read it 3 times before he fell asleep. I also met the author today she signed the book for Dominic. Thank you so much.
