A Harvard educated lawyer and native born Scot, Adam Alexander lives in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, child and two embarrassingly large dogs. He is addicted to chocolate.

The Shifter's Trail by Adam Alexander is an exciting science fiction story that will enthrall kids with all its action and adventure. Andromeda and her two friends have an unusual experience while at school. A fireball crosses the sky and it creates a lot of confusion, ending the school day early. Andromeda, who leads a normal life, finds her life changing when a space ship crash-lands near her home. The aliens need her help to search for their alien scientist who has been on Earth for a while. Andromeda and her friends decide to search for the shape-shifting alien scientist. Will they be able to find him?

There is a lot of action happening in the story with many twists and turns, intrigue and suspense. It is a fast paced plot that will keep young readers glued till the end. The story might seem a bit complicated when you start reading, but it becomes less complicated later. The tale of Andromeda and her two friends who meet the two races of aliens and are trying to help find the shape-shifting alien scientist is exhilarating. The kids are portrayed in a realistic manner and they make the story entertaining.

It is a good science fiction for students and the story can be enjoyed by all. The author's creativity and imagination is at its peak and the narration of alien invasions is very exciting. The many facets of physics and math make it interesting, along with the exploration of planets and space travel.
