The Ten Temples by M.A.N. is a grand action adventure that you can easily get lost in. It's a battle between life and death incarnate as the core reason for our hero Nyota to venture to the ten temples and find what she needs to save the teacher, the father she loves. Life or death depends on her journey, as she uses all she has learned to try to defeat the masters of these temples and relying on the principles that what you seek you must first try to find within. She is in a race against time, the only thing out of her control. With so much detail and thought-provoking statements, one is inclined to feel as if you yourself are on her journey, learning something more about yourself as you dive deeper into hers. It is a story of love, determination, and courage in the face of adversity.
The Ten Temples by M.A.N. is a very refreshing take on an old tale. The lessons of the old masters demonstrate that when trying to find something you need, look inside first to make sure you don’t already have the answers. The story is very detailed and you can almost see the fight scenes as they happen. The Skull Fighter’s description, especially what happens to things around him, was very well done. I disliked the font chosen, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the story itself. I found it very entertaining. It is a story you could tell to a younger generation and they would understand the lessons. I loved that with every chapter the character grew more in her training; this was her facing life.
