In The Toothbrush Circus, written and illustrated by Alina Loux, young readers learn that everyone needs to have clean, healthy teeth. The Toothbrush Circus is the perfect place to practice good hygiene with others who are ready to brush their teeth, too. The sound of toothbrushes scrubbing teeth can be heard from outside the tent. But the circus leader’s toothbrush broke, and he needs help to keep the show going. Walruses and elephants need to keep their long white tusks shiny and fresh. So do people, dogs, and even little mice. How will the show go on? Why is it so important to brush your teeth? How do you brush properly? When should you practice this important step in personal hygiene?
The Toothbrush Circus is a wonderful picture book with an adorable story about personal hygiene that will encourage kids to brush their teeth each day. I love how this story plays with kids' imaginations and their love for circuses and animals. This story will make kids want to keep their teeth healthy while showing them how to see this personal practice as fun. The illustrations are beautiful and tell the story in an entertaining way that will have kids laughing while they read and learn. I recommend The Toothbrush Circus by Alina Loux to children who are ready to start reading and will enjoy a story that is fun and educational, too. I hope that this talented author has more stories like this one to teach kids important life lessons that will stick with them through the years.
