Three friends have been living the high life for quite some time. By all appearances, they seem to have everything any woman could want: loving husbands, huge mansions, and more money than they know what to do with (at least Shayla and Kyle have more money than they need). When you look a little closer beneath the surface, however, you’ll see the cracks that are starting to break through the façade. There’s more to living the high life than meets the eye for most people and it’s what the eye doesn’t see that really makes the story in The Trophy Wives.
This story is, at first glance, an ideal of what every woman wishes her life would be. This book is about the women who live the best life possible with everything they could ever dream of. But as you keep reading, you find that this story is really about all the things that happen to people who seem to have everything. I started out very envious of the women in this tale but, by the end, I found myself very happy with my life the way it is. You’ll find yourself relating to many of their problems because money definitely doesn’t buy happiness. Charmaine Parker has woven a story that will definitely make you take a closer look at the people in your life. You never can know what’s really going on behind closed doors and that’s just what you’ll learn more about in this book. You won’t feel jealous of the rich and famous for a while after reading The Trophy Wives.
