The True Meaning of Christmas by Dr. Willie B. White is a short but insightful Christian book that introduces readers to the true meaning of Christmas. Christians and non-Christians in today's world have misinterpreted the holiday spirit in December by allowing the special day of the 25th to become commercialized and about Santa Claus. They often forget that it is the birthday of Christ. Dr. Willie B. White has written a well researched and referenced book explaining the meaning of Christmas by breaking down each letter and providing a summary paragraph of the meaning. For example, for the letter C the author describes "... is for Christ as He is the Savior of the world. Christ is the Son of God. Christ is God in the second person. He is divine and the last revelation of God Himself." The author provides cited references to the biblical verses where the information provided can be found if further explanation is needed. Each biblical verse is then broken down into layman's terms for an easy and comprehensive reading.

Dr. Willie B. White has brought to the world's attention that the traditional celebration of Christmas and its meaning has been changed and commercialized, and not celebrated for what it truly is. The book has honest truth within its pages. It's a reminder, if you will, to those who have locked themselves into the mass celebration and media frenzy traditions of shopping for gifts and being good for Santa Claus, and not honoring Jesus and obeying him. This book can be used by Christian institutions, academies, or schools as a references or guide as to why we celebrate Christmas.
