Author Biography

I am very happy to have completed the Twisted Diary Trilogy. An amazing journey of collecting stories and peoples experiences with relationships. I hope my readers will enjoy and relate to some of the situations Kate found herself in as she discovered her own empowerment.

I look forward to releasing my next book.

The Twisted Diary: Revelations, the third book in The Twisted Diary trilogy by author Anne Roberts is a fun, exciting, and even a bit sexy conclusion to this great series, following our protagonist Kate, as she further develops her skills and her desire to investigate and reveal who Harrison really is. In the process, she also learns more about who she is, and realizes that she might never have really been able to figure that out for herself before. First, she was the perfect wife of David, and after he died and her relationship with Harrison started, did she bend herself to his will as well? Revelations ends up being a book about much more than an adult and intriguing relationship; it ends up being the path for Kate to find out who she really is.

I very much enjoyed The Twisted Diary: Revelations. I must admit, I sometimes find books written in the diary style somewhat tiresome. Having only one point of view through a whole book can get a little dull. But something about Anne Roberts’ use of this style just really, really works. Her character building, especially of Kate, is superb, and I felt almost naughty as I was reading her diary entries. Feeling as if you are peeking into another person’s secret thoughts can be a delicious thrill. The Twisted Diary: Revelations would be a great read for any person who loves to read contemporary women’s fiction, and if you like a hefty dose of intrigue mixed in, then you’ll like it even more. I certainly hope that author Anne Roberts will continue with her writing career now that this trilogy is complete. She is a talented and interesting author, a welcome addition to this genre.

Holy Moly! That's exactly what I thought when I finished The Twisted Diary: Revelations by author Anne Roberts. The second installment of The Twisted Diary series, this book continues the story of Kate and Harrison, the couple we were introduced to in the first book in the series. Kate is a once naive widow who hadn't experienced much of life until meeting the enigmatic Harrison, a man much more worldly and experienced than she. Kate has certainly learned a lot during her relationship with Harrison, so much that she now has a strong desire to reveal him for who he really is. Kate's ready to investigate Harrison even more deeply in order to discover what she already suspects.

The Twisted Diary: Revelations is certainly a revelation of a book. Written in an interesting diary-like format, but this time the diary of an adult woman instead of that of a teenager, this diary is like nothing you've ever read before. Intriguing, exciting and hot, hot, hot, this book is one that, once you pick it up, you simply won't want to put it down until you've gotten to the very end! The Twisted Diary: Revelations is a book that would appeal to any reader who enjoys a fun, suspenseful and sexy novel written in a unique way. I am excited to give this book five stars and to highly recommend it to any reader considering a new book. I seriously hope that author Anne Roberts is hard at work on the third and final book of this trilogy, because I, for one, will be waiting anxiously to read it!

My oh my! I just finished reading The Twisted Diary: Revelations, the final book in The Twisted Diary series by author Anne Roberts. Written in an engaging diary-style format, the story follows fifty-something Kate as she continues on her journey of discovery, both of herself and of her relationship with the intrepid and debonair Harrison. It’s been a journey long in the making, taking Kate from a new and rather naïve widow, someone who hadn’t dated for quite some time, and certainly wasn’t worldly, to the Kate we find in Revelations, much more worldly wise, and perhaps a bit more jaded and cynical. Ready to reveal Harrison for who he really is, Kate also realizes she must uncover her own true identity, and with that information she must be fully prepared to move into the future, no matter what that future looks like.

The Twisted Diary: Revelations was an interesting and satisfying end to the Twisted Diary Triptych. Author Anne Roberts again does a fantastic job of pulling the reader in with the diary style of this novel. I felt almost like a voyeur, peeking into the innermost thoughts and secret activities of Kate. Although obviously written from Kate’s point of view, the author does a great job of building up the other characters in the book, especially Harrison, even if through Kate’s eyes. Revelations had me hooked from the beginning, jumping right into the action, and I couldn’t put it down until it was done. This book would appeal to any reader who enjoys fiction, intrigue or suspense, and I am pleased to be able to highly recommend this book. Now that Anne Roberts has completed this series, I certainly hope she is hard at work on her next book. I, for one, will be looking for more from this very promising author.

The Twisted Diary: Revelations by Anne Roberts is a unique novel that has been written in the style of a diary and takes you into the world of a not so perfect life. Kate steps outside of her comfort zone and reveals Harrison, all while she questions herself. Is she supposed to be the Stepford-style wife she was when with David? Or is the self she is now with Harrison her more authentic self? Follow the journey of Kate using her skills of psychology and her struggle on the verge of becoming an investigator. She takes risks and hopes they will pay off.

This has to be one of the most unique books that I have read in a long time. The format alone is enough to make it different and it makes you pay attention a lot more than you might if it was written in a standard style. The events as they unfold from Kate's POV are amazing to take in, and it makes you continue turning the pages so that you can absorb each new moment. I may have missed some of the more subtle nuances here, having only read this book, but overall I feel that Anne Roberts has written a book that can stand alone as well as being part of a series. I need to go back and read the others so I can reread this one and enjoy it that much more. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to someone who wants something that is a page turner and original.

In The Twisted Diary: Revelations by Anne Roberts, Kate loved Harrison and was ready to give their relationship her whole heart but Harrison was always holding back. Everything, including sex, was on his terms and according to his rules. Tired of playing by his rules and desperate to change the game, Kate decided to reinvent herself so she created an alias profile as Kristy on a dating site she knew he frequented, and this was just the beginning. As Kristy, she had Harrison's full attention and now it was a case of two can play that game. But could she manage the double life? Be Kate the girlfriend and at the same time be the alluring Kristy online and even more, or will she go too far and lose herself in the process? Stick around and find out.

The Twisted Diary by Anne Roberts is a unique story of a peculiar relationship and what one lover would do to set the balance right. The writing style, diary format, is captivating and befitting the type of story as it lets the reader see deep into Kate's emotions and get a better understanding of her desperate actions. The character transformation was also another plus. The way Kate evolved throughout the story was commendable and Anne Roberts brought this out perfectly. This is a case of a desperate lover and how far she would go to set a balance in the relationship, and the self discovery that came with the process. The Twisted Diary: Revelations by Anne Roberts used a well balanced blend of passion, intimacy and a good storyline to deliver a sizzling read.
