It was a special day. It was the day when the rest of the animals could watch the Unicorns having their picnic and anyone who went to the woods would be able to see all the Unicorns having a good time and celebrating. The little Unicorns were happily prancing around and having a wonderful time. They would be taken back home by their mommies and daddies at six o'clock so that the tired little Unicorns could go to bed. The Unicorn's Picnic by April Dawn Hilland and Rebeca Davila Ortiz takes children into the world of Unicorns and gives kids a peek at what they do when they are having their picnic.

It is an adorable story for children that will take them into the magical world of Unicorns. They will have fun reading about the good time the little Unicorns had at the picnic and will definitely want to go on a picnic to do the things the little Unicorns did while they were out. Children love fantastical creatures and this book will take them on a whimsical adventure along with the Unicorns to enjoy their picnic. The illustrations are as magical as the story and they bring the little Unicorns and their picnic to life and make them tangible for readers. It is a wonderful bedtime storybook for parents and grandparents to read out to their kids and grandkids. Tutors and educators will enjoy reading it out loud to children in classrooms and school libraries and getting children acquainted with the magical creatures called Unicorns. The story is simple, but there is magic, and that is what makes the book captivating to young readers.
