Timmy's Great Plan is a children’s picture book by Natalie Sanchez. Before Timmy hatched from his egg, his mother patiently waited for him and imagined what kind of dinosaur he would be. She was overjoyed to discover he was a healthy and happy dinosaur when he arrived. However, Timmy could not sit upright, but his mother still loved him. His fellow dinosaurs refused to spend time with him, which made him sad and lonely. Timmy used his ingenuity to build himself a wheelchair for mobility. His wheelchair allowed him to play, but Timmy’s resilience and invention helped save them all when his community and family were in danger.
I loved reading Timmy's Great Plan because it teaches children many life lessons, like being resourceful and loving yourself. Natalie Sanchez has written a heart-stirring story that combines geography, history, and motivation. Children will also learn about different types of dinosaurs and how to be brave. Timmy is the shining star in this story, and I love him because he is cute yet determined. He is a perfect character to teach children that they are all special and have unique abilities. Besides the amazing writing and great lessons, the book also contains beautiful illustrations that perfectly correspond with the story and bring all the characters to life. The images are colorful and make the book look vibrant. Children will love the eye-catching visuals and have fun reading this book. I highly recommend parents and caregivers read this book with their children for the encouraging message and its educational value. Great work.
