Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin is a well-written book that aims to help children develop self-love and build their self-esteem. Liger, an animal whose father is a lion and mother is a tiger, feels unhappy about its identity and wishes to be like other animals. To break free from how other animals see Liger, it sets out on an adventure to discover its identity. Liger approaches a zebra that has similar stripes, a cheetah that is a feline just like Liger, and a wildebeest that has a similar mane. However, the responses from these animals do not make Liger feel any better until Dad and Mum encourage and reassure Liger.

Despite the simplicity of this book, it has powerful moral lessons that teach children to embrace their differences, which make them unique. Also, through this story, children will learn about different animals. After reading this book, I did a little research on ligers, and I was absolutely fascinated by the facts I discovered. The animal characters were beautifully captured in the illustrations, which made the story more engaging for kids. From this story, I learned how encouragement and support from parents can positively impact how children see themselves. The writing is concise, well-paced, straightforward, and easy to comprehend. This story features themes of self-discovery, self-belief, the power of positive reassurance, and more. This book would make an amazing bedtime story for kids and be a way of introducing them to literature. I recommend Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin to all readers.

Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin follows a little Liger cub whose father is a Lion and mother is a Tiger. Having two different parents makes her a hybrid, and the other animals constantly make her feel left out. She tries to find similarities between herself and the other animals, like how she has stripes like a zebra or is a feline like the cheetah. But the other animals still think she’s strange and doesn’t belong. Only when she returns to her parents does she realize she doesn’t need to fit in with anyone else. She only needs to be herself and remember that her family loves her just the way she is.

Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin is a sweet and thoughtful children’s book that, through rhyme, tells the story of a Liger who tries to find her place in the world. The story is simple but has such a deeper meaning, and I think it will not only resonate with children but also really educate them on many levels. The story touches on coming from a mixed family background, and while this is becoming more common in today’s society, it can still be a strange concept for others. Introducing children to this concept early on and also encouraging them just to be themselves is a wonderful lesson for youngsters. I think the story, as well as the beautiful illustrations, will be a hit with young readers and especially those from mixed families. Overall, this is a really well-written book with a touching concept that aims to encourage, empower, and educate readers.

Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin is a gentle, uplifting picture book about a little cub who is part lion, part tiger, and discovering exactly what it means to be himself. With a lion for a dad and a tiger for a mom, this tiny liger feels different from the other animals in the savanna, especially when they only want to see what he looks like on the outside, instead of who he is inside. Around the other critters, he feels sad and maybe even ashamed, so he tries to connect with them. One of them is a zebra, who has stripes like him, but he finds making friends isn’t as easy when they view him as strange. With support and love from his mother, the tiny liger learns a very important life lesson. The story’s warm and rhythmic language, along with cheerful illustrations, make it a reassuring read for any child who has ever felt a little out of place.

I really admire Sabrina Edralin for writing such a heartwarming tale that is sure to make children who feel they are not like the others know that it’s okay. We are all special in our way, and the liger is no different. Tiny Liger is an excellent book for early childhood or elementary classrooms to broach the subject of being proud of who you are. Teachers could use it as the starting point for discussions about kindness, empathy, and celebrating what makes each of us unique. They could also ask students how they can make a sad friend feel better, or encourage kids to share about their own families and backgrounds. I also really enjoyed the artwork. The colors are vibrant and will keep young readers engaged from start to finish. It’s more than just a picture book—it’s an invitation for kids to embrace themselves and others with kindness.

Tiny Liger by Sabrina Edralin is the story of an adorable little cub. Narrated in rhyme, this picture book follows a Liger, a cub whose father is a lion while his mother is a tiger. Liger always felt the other animals thought of him as weird, as he was quite different from any of them. They often wondered if he belonged in a zoo. He had stripes like a zebra, but was feline just like a cheetah. All Liger wanted was for the other animals to accept him as he was, rather than expecting him to be someone else. Although Liger's mixed genes were causing him trouble, upon his return home, he discovered where he truly belonged. His parents welcomed him with open arms, and he finally came to realize who he was.

Tiny Liger is a beautiful story about acceptance and inclusivity. The hero in this heartwarming picture book is a sweet liger cub that young readers will undoubtedly love. Liger's search for a sense of belonging and acceptance will resonate with children, and it will make them root for him even more. Author Sabrina Edralin weaves an engrossing yarn that highlights the challenges faced by mixed-race children in the real world. Liger is not only likable but also very admirable. This is the kind of picture book you read to your kids as a bedtime story or a companion book to spend time with them. The illustrations are colorful and lively, bringing the charming characters to life in ways that will captivate young readers. All in all, it's a fantastic picture book for kids.
