To Bind up the Brokenhearted by Terri Clifton delivers a powerful message to anyone who may be lost or hurt in ten prayer-packed chapters. By using Bible passages and life experiences, she shows that a fractured soul can be healed—and she shows how. The book feels like a rallying cry to propel me to seek my place in God’s army. Parts of the book resemble a memoir as Terri shares her past with us. She does this to show she understands. I found it very moving. Using scriptures to show how God still moves the same way today as He did in biblical times makes this an inspirational read.
To Bind Up the Brokenhearted was written in such a way that I felt like I was listening to my best friend as she explained what God had revealed to her. Terri Clifton is a mighty woman of faith, and her love of God and mankind pour through her words. Although, as an evangelist called to ministry (especially women), Terri has written this mainly for believers, I believe anyone reading it will be blessed—especially anyone in emotional pain. The writing style is simple, but the message is powerful. Uplifting, motivating, and freeing, this book has stirred my spirit and reawakened my hunger for God. I feel truly blessed to have read it.
