Trumpland is a work of fantasy fiction based on current political and social affairs, penned by author Todd Alan Benevides. In an exaggerated world on the brink of apocalypse, Trump is President and nuclear bombs are exploding as monsters arrive to terrorize the world. Jack Thorn pushes through the nightmare as best he can, but meeting the gun-toting Kate is just what he needs for a survival boost. On their way to destroy the First King of Trumpland in a bid to save the world, they pick a young girl with supernatural powers who opens them up to a whole new way to deal with time and the events happening in the past, present and future of Earth.

Whatever your political beliefs about the future of America and the world, anyone who feels lost right now in the current climate will get a kick out of this intelligent and highly readable satire about the madness of modern life. Author Todd Alan Benevides takes us from the ridiculous to the sublime on an apocalyptic journey where literally anything can happen, but his narration is always grounded in very real voices and the things that real people might genuinely do in order to survive nuclear warfare and otherworldly powers. Politics aside, the storyline is that of an accomplished comic book style fantasy and sci-fi adventure which has plenty of bang for the buck for its adult audience. Overall, Trumpland provides an entertaining semi-escape from the madness of the real world: a surreal triumph to be enjoyed by all.
