A book that everyone should have! People are different and this is good because one of the wonders of the world is its diversity in all aspects. But sometimes, we need to teach this idea to little ones enjoyably and easily for them to understand. Uniquely Beautiful! is the perfect book for this. Sandra Smith narrates the story of a daughter, Careena, talking to her mother. The girl has noticed some differences from her classmates, like her skin color or her hair type, and this is because we are all unique. It also discusses inner and outer beauty and how to understand it clearly. Although the story is simple, at the same time it is very deep, strengthening self-confidence and positive attitudes in children.
I’m glad to recommend Uniquely Beautiful! because accepting ourselves is a useful and necessary lesson to learn from a young age, which is why this book is essential to generate self-esteem. The aspects of inner and outer beauty are perfectly conveyed with a wonderful message full of love. The words were carefully selected. Each page reflects dedication and harmony, with a style that is easy to understand. The presentation is excellent in all aspects: words, pictures, and font. I was delighted to find this book for its magnificent method of representing these themes, in a way as natural as a conversation between two loved ones. Sandra Smith created an attractive book that every child should have the opportunity to read.
