We Are The Future: Proud, Kind, United is a wonderful educational book by C.M. Harris. If you want to know what it’s like to be truly included and belong, why not visit this school? Here, the children are kind, playing together nicely, and inviting everyone to join in the fun. In the school dining hall, everyone is welcome at every table, where food and stories are shared. The library is a magical place, opening doors to new worlds and helping the children learn and grow together. They help others and learn from their mistakes and from caring teachers who guide them through every day. These children are the future – will you be one of them?

We Are The Future by C. M. Harris is a truly revolutionary children’s book with some amazing illustrations by Deni Nuhoho. What makes it even more special is that, at the end, there is an opportunity to create a custom school version, featuring your school’s name, colors, etc., making it truly personal. This is a special book, teaching children the right way to behave as they go through life. The lessons they learn now will shape who they become, and as they are the future of this world, we can only hope that we have a kinder, more inclusive world ahead of us. The book also teaches children to be proud of their schools and value their teachers because this is where most of their life lessons are learned. At the end is a short activity, asking kids what they want to be when they grow up and how they will make the world a kinder place. This is an enjoyable story with an important message, and it should be included in home and school libraries everywhere.
