In an excellent installment from The Janus Project Files, When is Sylvia Wallace? by author Brad Anderson tells the story of a scenario that few could imagine, much less survive. Follow the story of our protagonist, Deputy Marshal Sylvia Wallace, as she finds herself alone in the future, in a time where there is no Janus project. She is surrounded by prison escapees, and survival needs to be her only focus. She gains hope for her salvation when she finds a note from the past showing that help is coming in the form of Deputy US Marshal Robert Mackie and Colonel John Callan. All she needs to do is hold on until they show up to take her back through time. But will she be able to do that? You'll need to read the book to find out.
I very much enjoyed When is Sylvia Wallace? Author Brad Anderson has done a great job in creating a fascinating future world that is different and realistic all at the same time. He has created characters that are fascinating, but still relatable, and his readers will find themselves truly caring about them by the time the book is finished. Any reader who enjoys science fiction, or is just looking for a great read of fiction in general should absolutely pick up When is Sylvia Wallace? as soon as they can. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to reading more from the exceptionally promising author, Brad Anderson, as soon as I possibly can!
