White Horse Regressions is a Steve Lindahl novel exploring the concept that after a biological death, the soul can start a new life in a new body and that destiny plays a big role in people’s lives. The story unravels in present day Vermont, which was stirred by the mysterious murder of Paige Stackman, Hannah Hershman’s girlfriend. Months later, the police still have no leads and the grieving Hannah resorts to the services of Glen Wiley, a prominent hypnotist. What follows is the revelation of Hannah’s past lives back in the reign of the Han Dynasty in China and during the Victorian age in England. They also discover that most of Hannah's present friends are connected to her in one way or another in her past lives. A plot to murder connects the lives of this group of people and something has to be done to stop it from happening again and again.
White Horse Regressions is the second installment in Steve Lindahl’s mystery series that deals with reincarnation. As this mystery murder turns into a full blown hypnotic investigation, a centuries-old murderous connection is uncovered involving a cast of characters whose fates have been tied together through the years. Fast paced and descriptive, this is a novel that spins from the present day to the past and back to the present again. The story develops in such a way that any reader will have no choice but to avidly follow the twists and turns that have repeatedly happened for ages, perhaps to find out if man can actually take control of his destiny. White Horse Regressions is a story of love, friendship, deception and hate, so intense that it reverberates through time.
