Words are extremely powerful. Through words, people can express hurt, healing, humor or sadness. Wisdom Quotes Illustrated 2: Take Flight! by Philip G. Schmitz is about different ways to articulate emotions. At first glance, you will see words of wisdom that reflect expressions of forgiveness, trust, gratitude, letting go, worry, generosity, greed, friendship, walking away, and slowing down. As you read Wisdom Quotes Illustrated 2: Take Flight! Philip takes you on a journey in reading quotes from people such as Helen Keller, Leonardo da Vinci, George Bernard Shaw, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Gloria Steinem, to name a few, that helps to bring the emotional message home. Philip also sprinkles in a little visual stimulation to emphasize the point of expression.
There are so many inspirational quotes that it just gives you a stimulating feeling. I enjoyed reading the quotes in Wisdom Quotes Illustrated 2: Take Flight! Let me share a few of my favorites. “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible” - Francis of Assisi. Now isn’t this beautiful? Here’s another one that I just fell in love with. “At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can be done, then they see it can be done, then it is done and all of the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago” - Frances Hodgson Burnett. By getting your own copy of Wisdom Quotes Illustrated 2: Take Flight! you get a chance to explore and experience the beauty of words. As I stated before, words can hurt, heal, and evoke other forms of emotions. As you read Wisdom Quotes Illustrated 2: Take Flight! by Philip G. Schmitz, what emotion will resonate with you?
