You Are Your Healer: The Ultimate Guide to Heal Your Past, Transform Your Life & Awaken to Your True Self by Yol Swan is a comprehensive guide to a fuller and healthier life. Indeed, it awakens you to your true self and values that will not let you down. Nowadays, so much is based on appearances, wealth, and possessions that some people get lost in the trap of trying to have more and more. This book is about everything else! It deals with being, not with having. It explores how to heal yourself and thus heal others because we cannot be open to others if we do not acknowledge what or who we really are.

You Are Your Healer is an extremely deep guide that I am so glad I could read. I will reread it regularly when the need arises as it is exhaustive. It explores fields we do not usually explore in depth. I loved the sense of truth as Yol Swan shares her own experience and tells us that she had rejected anything that was related to religion from a very early age. I found this book so enlightening and enjoyed wondering about my ways and what I could do to improve my life. The explanations about ego, the “egoic sense of otherness”, the need for approval, our mental patterns and so much more. This is also more than a book; it is rather a guide to understanding yourself and what you need to be fulfilled. It is a book to treasure. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Yol Swan!
