God is a God of change. Whenever he takes you to a place where there is darkness, he wants you to find a new path for yourself. He will lead and guide you like a gentle Shepherd on your road to Damascus. Job loss or an unemployed state is very hard for anyone to deal with. But you must have faith that God is not finished with you yet. He is at work and in hindsight you will realize the necessity of this hardship in life. Using biblical strategies and principles you can make life-altering changes and move towards a happier, blessed state. A career change can be frightening, but can ultimately turn out to be your true calling.

"Your Road to Damascus" by William Higgins has been one of the most inspiring and motivating books I have read off late and deserves five star rating. It is an eye opener that makes one think about what certain things are meant to be. It inspires you to use biblical strategies and teachings to to get out of the rut and find the true vocation you were meant to take up. God has plans for all of us and his creations are not futile. All of us have roles to play and he will make use of us to fulfill our destiny. Through the author's personal experiences and by using interesting examples and references, William Higgins has come up with a book that can be called a masterpiece.
