In Zero Knowledge by Arnaud Pascolo, Luc Starck's startup, BionTic, faced difficulties. Luc received a meeting invitation from a mysterious individual wearing a red cap. The individual handed Luc an envelope labeled "Clue One," which he was instructed to open after leaving. Moments later, the man answered a phone call, and Luc suddenly collapsed and died. Gail, Luc's widow, was unable to access his substantial Bitcoin wealth without his private key, and their friend Duan, a specialist in cryptography, offered his assistance. Duan soon suspected that Luc’s death was deliberate and found himself implicated in the murder investigation. As Bernt Berg approached retirement, he asked that his daughter, Lisa-Lotte, be assigned to work with him at the Zuger police department. Bernt and Lisa-Lotte took on the case concerning Luc, putting them in a race against time to apprehend the murderer.

Zero Knowledge was a compelling and engaging mystery that captivated me from beginning to end. Arnaud Pascolo skillfully weaves this thrilling tale with an introduction to cryptocurrency concepts, making it fascinating to explore. The storyline was fast-moving, and I found myself unable to turn the pages quickly enough, fearful that I would miss something important. The writing style was captivating, and the explanations of cryptocurrency were presented in a way that someone like me, who knows very little about it, could easily grasp. The characters were well-crafted and felt genuine. They were relatable and could be anyone I know. The plot was expertly crafted and executed, maintaining my interest throughout. The conclusion was a complete surprise; I never anticipated it and did not see it coming at all. I keep reflecting on the ending in my mind; it was truly remarkable and fitting.
