Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger's 200 Stress-Relieving Sudoku Puzzles to Sharpen Your Mind is a visually striking collection of sudoku puzzles of varying difficulty. Following the loss of a family member who died of Alzheimer’s disease, the authors founded the brand MOSH to promote brain health. In keeping with their mission, the authors have compiled this collection of sudoku puzzles, which stimulate brain activity, improve problem-solving skills, and ease stress levels. With 50 sudoku for each level of difficulty--Very Easy, Easy, Medium, and Hard--there is a vast number of puzzles for readers of all skill levels. Answers to the puzzles are provided at the end of the book.
My grandmother encouraged my love of puzzles from a young age. She always insisted that keeping your mind sharp and honing your problem-solving skills were important for promoting cognitive health. Up until the final months of her life, she continued to complete puzzles of low difficulty. Working out the sudoku puzzles in 200 Stress-Relieving Suduko Puzzles to Sharpen Your Mind brought back fond memories. It’s important to note that while Alzheimer’s led to the formation of Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger’s company, MOSH never makes claims that its products will prevent or treat the disease. The puzzles are visually appealing and match their assigned difficulties appropriately. The answer key at the end is printed in a large enough font size for most readers. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this stunning puzzle book and greatly appreciate the authors’ contributions to Alzheimer’s research and education.
