Cindy McKinley and Patti Trombly's 365 Teacher Secrets for Parents: Fun Ways to Help Your Child Succeed in Elementary School is a useful tool for parents, especially of elementary school kids to help children improve not only their attitude towards school, but also their academics. The book covers the major subjects in school: reading, writing, spelling, math, science, social studies, critical thinking, increasing self-reliance and self-esteem, and making their school a success. The book is parent-child friendly and gives tips and techniques on how one can work with their children and make the entire learning process fun. The 365 ideas are excellent and it is the beginning of an exciting journey of helping a child learn and grow.

The activities and workbook are very useful when it comes to practicing with a child. The tips, techniques, ideas, and advice are easy and simple and will definitely help parents set their children on the right track from elementary school itself. The suggestions are not only for parents of children who attend regular school, but also homeschooling parents. There is something for every child in the book and parents can use any idea that they think fits their child's needs. I found the book very useful as it sets the tone for a child's academic life. The ideas and activities shared are enriching for children and will help them bring out their best. It's a fun read and makes school life engaging and very interesting. An excellent book for parents to guide their children effectively.
