For Rent: The Apartment Manager Series by Erin Huss is a humorous, sometimes romantic story. It has all the ingredients that a good chick lit story needs – romance, mystery, humor, and that inevitable kick in the backside. Right from the start, this was a good story. Engaging, it took hold of me from page one and held on. It was funny, laugh-out-loud funny in places, and written in such a descriptive way that you could picture everything that was happening. Development of the main characters was excellent, leaving me in no doubt as to exactly who they were and what made them who they are. This was a fun book, a bit of a roller coaster ride and, believe me, it was well worth the read. Really looking forward to book 2 now to see where it goes from here.
