A Belfast Girl: A 1960s American Folk Music Legend Weaves Stories by Maggi Kerr Peirce is a delightful memoir that takes you back in time. Maggi Peirce is known for her memorable performances of Irish folktales, rhymes and ballads. She has also performed at the Smithsonian, Mariposa, Philadelphia Folk Festival and many other places. Her upbringing was always filled with recitations, stories and songs. The book sheds light on the beautiful life of Maggi Peirce, her Irish childhood, memories of Belfast, then working in a chocolate factory in Sweden, and then moving to America.
