The Council rules with an iron grip and a set of opaque laws that only they understand. The people are unhappy with this but cannot do anything until a brave individual known only as the Storyteller-Reformer discovers the Testament of Equilibrium. Threatened by this revelation, the Council dispatches Velan to destroy the document and suppress any revolt sparked by its existence. They do not realize that the Storyteller-Reformer has joined forces with a few courageous individuals led by Alara, the Environmental Activist, to break free from the shackles of oppression. Can this band of freedom fighters succeed, or will distrust undermine their only chance at change? Only time will tell in Abhinav Paitandy's A Chorus of Shattered Voices.
