The importance of being mindful as a path to wellbeing forms the theme of A Minute of Mindfulness Journal: Seasons. Stacey Andrade King points out that the many benefits include reduced stress, improved sleep patterns, growing self-awareness, and acquiring wisdom. The journal is presented in four parts, each relating to a season, and with space for some twenty entries in each. Readers are free to use the journal as they feel, with no pressure or timeline specified. There are prompts at the beginning of each section to inspire growth while releasing what no longer serves. These explore feelings such as gratitude, accepting abundance and spiritual gifts, allowing love to flow, and the need to remain positive. Readers will learn to accept miracles, find beauty in ordinary things, and flow with natural cycles. Even small steps make a difference. Learning to laugh is therapeutic. There is a reminder to stay grounded. The journal provides the breathing space for self-reflection, calming the spirit, and bringing healing.

Stacey Andrade King believes that mindfulness is about being aware and present in the moment. This enables focus and alignment, and works at both the physical and emotional levels. The journal was designed to bring healing, love, and empathy. Instructions are provided for using breathing techniques to calm the mind and bring focus. Each of the quoted phrases can form the basis of a meditation on its own, or serve as affirmations. A Minute of Mindfulness Journal is an invitation to grow and experience new possibilities, as you connect with the changing energy of the seasons, bringing renewal and clarity. The directions on how best to use the journal are clear and concise. The key to this journal is its simplicity, and it has an aura of peace and tranquility. It is particularly suited for younger adults, and the routine of keeping a journal is easily incorporated into daily life.
