A Noble Truth by Robert Mix is about Noble Gareth, who was only six years old when he drew a picture of a disaster that would happen before Christmas that year. Years later, Noble assisted the police on a case in Washington, DC, but he made a mistake, and his reputation was in tatters. Inspector Sophie Walsh of Police Scotland persuaded Noble to help them find a renowned biochemist, Dr. Julius Fiskaal, who was missing. When Noble touched Fiskaal’s leather attaché case, he felt that there was something bigger than just Fiskaal’s disappearance. After asking questions about Fiskaal at the Scottish laboratory of Cardano Pharmaceutical, Noble was told that he should go home. Noble and Sophie were onto something, and whoever was behind it had money, influence, and motive. Noble and Sophie are in a race against the clock to uncover the truth, and this time, Noble cannot make a mistake.
A Noble Truth by Robert Mix was absolutely stunning and held my attention throughout. Themes of middle-aged romance, conspiracy, and suspense were woven throughout. There was a lot of action in the plot, and I never knew what would happen next because of all the turns. I could follow along at my own pace and take my time learning everything. I could see and feel everything through Noble's eyes, as the writing was captivating. I could identify with the well-developed characters. Noble always wondered whether his psychic abilities were a blessing or a curse because they made him feel alone in the world. I could not wait to see where Noble and Sophie's romance would take them. The book was masterfully composed and held my attention. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and in the end, all the pieces of the puzzle came together perfectly.
