Chloe and Shauna are on holiday on the beautiful island of Bali and they decide to visit the Monkey Forest Sanctuary. They both are very excited and they read the rules of the Sanctuary before entering it. The Blue Board has lots of rules on how to behave within the Monkey Forest. After carefully reading the rules, Chloe and Shauna quiz each other on what they should remember. They know how the monkeys would like to be treated. They are amazed watching the clever monkeys. The forest has bushy trees and long hanging vines for the monkeys to play on and both the girls leave the Monkey Forest with wonderful memories. Let's go with the girls and enjoy the adventures in the Monkey Forest with them.
A Visit to Monkey Forest: Butterfly Adventure by Shauna Kelly is a delightfully charming adventure story where young readers are taken into the Monkey Forest Sanctuary along with these two girls. The illustrations are vivid and colorful and they give a good pace and movement to the story. The story comes alive with these pictures. It is a good storybook for read aloud and story telling sessions in classrooms and school libraries. It is also good for bedtime storytelling and parents and grandparents can read it out to their kids and grandkids. For all children who love adventure, this book is perfect. The book will also encourage readers to travel to new places and explore the interesting things there, just like Chloe and Shauna.
