Aaliyah and Grandma Cindy are ready for a new adventure in the storybook Aaliyah P. Travels the 50 States! The Little Adventures of Aaliyah P. Book 4 by Lucinda Weeks. They both board the shiny bus to travel around the United States. Grandma Cindy is hoping that the trip will be fun and educational. They reach Alabama, the 22nd state in the U.S., and they ride past cotton fields, apple orchards, peach orchards, strawberry fields, and blueberry fields. They go skiing in Alaska and kayaking at Glacier Bay National Park. As they visit each state, Aaliyah and Grandma Cindy enjoy the diversity that makes each state different from the others.
This is a fun and educational book that introduces young readers to the different states and the author speaks about what makes them special and different from each other. The author neatly compiles together the states in the U.S. and tells readers about the important things to see and do in each state in an exciting and engaging way. The illustrations give clarity to the words and the book will encourage young readers to travel and discover new places. Weeks makes learning fun and interactive by taking readers on an exciting trip along with Grandma Cindy and Aaliyah. It is a good book for tutors and educators to read out in classrooms to help children understand about history, travel, and other educational and informative facts regarding places. I can't wait to travel again with Aaliyah and Grandma Cindy to the next place. Are you ready for it?
