Nelly Morgan feels ready to get married. Even though she hasn’t dated her groom for a long time, she feels mostly confident in their union. It comes as a total shock to her when a complete stranger crashes her wedding, claiming they are in love and that he can’t let Nelly go through with the nuptials. Her fiancé decides he can’t go through with the wedding after the drama, and suddenly Nelly goes from almost a wife to almost single. She decides she must find out who this stranger is, why he thinks they are in love, and get her fiancé back. In All Because of You: How Could A Stranger Cause So Much Damage? Vivian Brooks brings readers a delightful chick lit novel filled with a light-hearted mystery, a peculiar romance or two, and a wonderful ending.
The synopsis is what really pulled me and I’m sure glad it did. Right away I was invested in this story, and found it incredibly hard to put down. I was so curious as to why a stranger crashed her wedding, and why he seemed so intent on sticking around. Some of the situations that happened were pretty extreme when it came to the break ins and her car being damaged, and I was a little concerned that her friends and family didn’t try to step up more to help her get over her ex, who was clearly a scum bag, but other than that little issue, I had an immensely wonderful time reading this book. All Because of You: How Could A Stranger Cause So Much Damage? by Vivian Brooks is definitely a must-read for chick lit fans.
