Author Biography

Robert Lee Wolfe lives in eastern Pennsylvania with his wife and two young children. He is an artist and a musician as well as a novelist in his spare time. He says the main point of any of his creative endeavors is to produce a work that induces an adrenaline-pumping physiological response that leaves the participant emotionally affected, pondering thoughts they might have otherwise avoided. His works often have a spiritual bent, and his hope is that his projects are always thought-provoking and inspirational as well as a thrilling ride. Robert created the cover art and inside illustrations for his first novel, An Invisible Thread: The War in the Orion Arm.

Wow! A novel of truly epic proportions, An Invisible Thread: The War in the Orion Arm by author Robert Lee Wolfe is an entertaining thrill ride of a read! In the year 3335, Earth is a very different place. Trading with alien nations has become commonplace and, along with it, interstellar conflict. A species of evil, war-hungry aliens, the Brakikeen-jhennen, are expanding their realm as quickly as Earth is expanding hers, and the relationship between the two empires is likely to be anything but peaceful. Young Erin Broctrup is preparing to join Earth’s Exploration and Expansion Fleet, just as all of this is going on, and is ready for the adventure of a lifetime. But in this battle between good and evil, nothing is certain, and you’ll need to read to the very end to find out how this grand adventure ends.

An Invisible Thread: The War in the Orion Arm grabbed me from page one. Author Robert Lee Wolfe has true skill in pulling the reader in, and his world-crafting abilities are second to none. Exciting and adventurous, the story will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. In this war story, battle scenes are vividly and graphically drawn. Characters are endowed with an intricate humanity, even for some who are not human, that makes you feel for their situations and for their positions. With ties to our modern-day complexities in politics, commerce, economics, inter-country negotiations and cultural differences, Mr. Wolfe’s work is a true work of art, and one that will not leave you the same as before you read it. I look forward to many great things from this author, and to his next work with anticipation.
