Arkonus is a work of fiction in the epic science fiction subgenre. It is intended for the general adult reading audience and was penned by Jordan Broody. Our central protagonist is Darius Jettora, who takes his role as a Zentakki Vindicator very seriously. Born to mercilessly track down and eliminate the targets he is given by nefarious clients, Darius has a formidable reputation. But when the discovery of an ancient prophecy and a new mission changes everything Darius thought he knew about his life and his purpose, even the stone heart of a Vindicator can be put to the ultimate test. What results is a thrilling journey of self-discovery, destiny, and truth.
Readers who are seeking in-depth, complexly woven science fiction are certain to find that this epic work by Jordan Broody has everything they could desire. For a start, the writing is so atmospheric, bringing to life a vast array of cinematic descriptions of distant, desolate worlds, and danger emerging from every void and shadow of space. When you layer this in with the detailed work that Broody has done in his worldbuilding, and then add the emotive, heartfelt and resonant character arc that Darius goes on throughout the plot, the whole novel takes on a higher level of impact that leaves your heart in a vice grip from start to finish. By the story’s end, you feel personally attached to Darius and his journey. I highly recommend Arkonus to all science fiction fans looking for high-quality stories to lose themselves in.
