Paige Porter wants to find just the right guy to model the new line of western clothes for her latest client. And she has finally convinced this client that it needs to be a cowboy. So Paige, along with her sister, is headed off to the rodeo finals in Las Vegas to find a cowboy with the right assets. What a job they had looking at the backsides of hunky cowboys, but it has to be just the right one. And this turns out to be a hoot with businesswoman and advertising executive Paige and her quirky, lighthearted, full of fun married sister as they trawl through the sea of cowboys at the rodeo. And Paige did find her cowboy, but all she has is a picture of his back pockets.
Barreling Through Christmas by Shanna Hatfield is my first read by this author, but it certainly won't be the last. I had so much fun reading this story, with so many laugh out loud moments, that I didn't want it to end. The characters quickly worked their way into my heart, especially Nick with his quiet and full of wisdom ways. Cooper was a hoot and was great at his job as a rodeo clown, and I love the special way he had with children in the hospitals and the way he cared so much for them. Even though Cooper and Paige were so different, they were perfect for each other. I love how both Cooper and Nick brought out a lighter side of Paige. There is so much more to this story, this is why you need to read the book. And did Paige find her cowboy with the perfect back pockets? Another reason to read this amazing story, Barreling Through Christmas by Shanna Hatfield. I would love to see this as a Hallmark Christmas movie!
